Isidora Timotijevic was born in Belgrade (Serbia) in 1997 and received her first violin lessons at the age of seven at the music school “Kosta Manojlovic” in Zemun. At the age of 14 she switched to the viola and attended the class of Tomislav Milosevic. Since 2015, she has been studying with Prof. Thomas Riebl as part of a bachelor’s degree program at the University Mozarteum Salzburg. She is also a scholarship holder at the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and takes part in the intensive weeks there.

The young violist has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions, both as a soloist and as a chamber musician.

Isidora Timotijevic was a member of the CEI Youth Orchestra, the Belgrade Symphony Orchestra and the Belgrade Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, among others, and played in other chamber ensembles. She has already performed with the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists and the Camerata Salzburg, and has given concerts in Brazil, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Peru, South Korea, Switzerland and Austria. Together with other students she founded the Beija-flor Quartet. In 2016 and 2017 Isidora Timotijevic participated in the chamber music festival Musique à Marsac in France and in 2017 in the music festival Eggenfelden klassisch as well as in the FESTIVAL NEXT GENERATION in Bad Ragaz. In 2018, she performed at the :alpenarte festival in Schwarzenberg, Austria, and at the Olive Classic festival on the Croatian island of Pag. In the same year, she participated in a master class of Cuarteto Casals in Spain and in the Mendelssohn on Mull Festival with the Doric String Quartet in Scotland.

The young violist plays in the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the ENSEMBLES ESPERANZA, which consists of scholarship holders of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein and was awarded an “OPUS KLASSIK” in 2018.
