Oleksandr was born in Kiev (Ukraine). At the age of 5 he started playing the piano at the music school in the class of Halyna Kozjuba, at the age of 6 he began to participate in piano competitions. Oleksandr is a scholarship recipient of the President Leonid Kuchma’s Foundation “Ukraine”. Besides music, he is interested in literature and Lego.
Despite his young age, Oleksandr can already look back on numerous national and international awards, such as at the Horowitz Competition in Kiev (Ukraine) 2018, the “AMADEUS” Competition in Brno (Czech Republic) 2021, or the “Memorijal Jurica Murai” Competition in Varaždin (Croatia) 2022.
He has already performed in the Mahler Hall at the concert “Wunderkinder” as part of the South Tyrolean Festival in Dobbiaco (Italy), twice in the Steinway Piano Gallery in Stockholm (Sweden) at the concerts “Young Talents: Ukraine” as part of the festival “Rethinking Europe: Ukraine II”, as well as in the Stockholm Castle at the concert “Little Stars in the Royal Castle”.
Other engagements took Oleksandr to the Antonio Belloni Theater in Barlassina, Italy for the concert “Christmas Magic in the Belloni Theater”, the Brunnenhof of the Munich Residence as part of the prize-winners’ concert of the international online piano competition for youth in Europe “EUPLAYY”, the Villa Rachmaninoff (“Senar”) in Weggis (Switzerland), and the Glass Hall of the Tallinn Singers’ Field in Tallinn (Estonia).
