Discover the world of music together
School program
Sometimes delicate and quiet, sometimes pompous and loud, sometimes on string instruments, sometimes on percussion or with their own voice: At the :alpenarte school concerts, the youngest audience from 6 to 14 years of age discovers the broad spectrum of the musical world. In age-appropriate, moderated concert formats, children learn about different genres and styles in a participatory way and experience a lively concert program in the Angelika-Kauffmann-Hall.
2025, the V.Töne woodwind quintet invites you on an exciting journey of discovery into the world of wind sounds. The five musicians present a diverse program – from classical to modern, from Mozart to Ligeti – and impressively demonstrate how multifaceted and versatile a wind quintet can sound.
The students experience the ensemble and their instruments up close and once again this year gain a lively approach to music – because chamber music is so much more than just a few instruments playing together.

As part of the school visits, young people between the ages of 14 and 18 experience the :alpenarte musicians in the classroom. In a mixture of musical contributions and exchange with the students, music is listened to, music is chatted about and the variety of instruments is learned in a relaxed atmosphere. The :alpenarte musicians and employees talk about their training and careers, about training opportunities in the music and cultural management sector and about their own professions.
