Lara Kusztrich (violin), born in Vienna in 1994, has been a member of the Vienna State Opera Orchestra since 2020 and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra since 2023. Her concert career has taken her to Salzburg, Munich and Kiev, among other places. She is a member of Philharmonic Five and La Philharmonica.
David Kessler (violin), born in Feldkirch, became a member of the Vienna Philharmonic at the age of 24. He has won prizes at numerous competitions and has performed at the Verbier Festival, among others. He plays on a Gagliano violin provided by the OeNB.
Christoph Hammer (viola), born 1992 in Graz, has been a violist in the Vienna State Opera Orchestra/Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra since 2022. He studied in Graz and Vienna, won the Bruckner Prize of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and combines classical repertoire with crossover projects.
Benedikt Sinko (cello), born in Vienna in 1997, has been solo cellist at the Volksoper Wien since 2024. After studying in Vienna and Munich, he was an academy member of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Concert activities as a soloist and chamber musician regularly take him through Europe, Asia and America.
Anna Gruchmann (double bass) studied in Linz, Munich and Vienna. After engagements in Klagenfurt and the Bruckner Orchestra Linz, she joined the Vienna State Opera stage orchestra in 2023. Her chamber music is characterized by the ensemble “minui”, which reinterprets opera literature in a reduced form.
Miriam Kutrowatz (soprano) was born in Vienna and studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Stage debut in 2020 as Idaspe at the Theater an der Wien, later as Zerlina, Marie, L’Amour and Konstanze, among others. From 2022 to 2024 in the opera studio of the Vienna State Opera, with roles such as Papagena, Barbarina and Flower Girl. Guest appearances have taken her to the Zurich Opera, Komische Oper Berlin and the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, among others. Concert appearances at the Musikverein Vienna, the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Philharmonie Cologne. 2024 nomination for the Austrian Music Theater Prize. Masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, Malcolm Martineau and others.
