Duo Minerva is a classical, innovative ensemble that transcends genre boundaries and captures the modern zeitgeist. Located between classical music and crossover, the Tyrolean clarinettist Johanna Gossner and the Vorarlberg accordionist Damian Keller have dedicated themselves to the musical possibilities of both instruments with elegance and sophistication since their foundation in 2016.

A love of detail and the unbridled joy of previously unheard chamber music possibilities are the driving forces behind Duo Minerva. In 2017, the young ensemble won the 16th Fidelio Chamber Music Competition of the City of Vienna and the scholarship for the promotion of young artists. This was followed by international competition successes in Europe and Asia as well as concerts at international festivals such as the Allegro Vivo Festival and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. The ensemble has also been in the sponsorship program of the renowned Club Klassik – Vienna Music Society since 2023, which supports promising young artists living in Austria. Duo Minerva is not only in great demand as a classical duo, but also together with other artists on the cultural scene. At :alpenarte 2024, they will perform both at the pre-concerts and in the program for schools.
