25-year-old Chantal Boso-Flores completed her undergraduate studies in traditional painting and drawing at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence in 2020. In 2021, she completed a postgraduate course at the renowned Cecil Studios in Florence, specializing in portrait painting. In the same year, she received the ARC scholarship and was a finalist in the Portrait Society of America’s Future Generation Competition in 2023. From December 2022 to May 2023, Chantal Boso-Flores worked in the Oscar-nominated film team of Breakthru Films in Sopot/Gdansk (Poland). She created hundreds of oil paintings for the animated film “The Pesants”.
Chantal Boso-Flores has been working as a freelance painter in Austria and Italy since 2021 – both on commissioned works and personal projects and exhibitions. She has also been a lecturer in classical painting at the Florence Art Studio since 2023.
