{"id":3995,"date":"2023-02-15T17:43:17","date_gmt":"2023-02-15T16:43:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/artists\/juan-perez-floristan\/"},"modified":"2023-04-20T16:15:39","modified_gmt":"2023-04-20T14:15:39","slug":"juan-perez-floristan","status":"publish","type":"artists","link":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/artists\/juan-perez-floristan\/","title":{"rendered":"Juan P\u00e9rez Florist\u00e1n"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Juan P\u00e9rez Florist\u00e1n, who in 2015 was awarded 1st prize and the Audience Prize at the &#8220;Paloma O&#8217;Shea Santander International Piano Competition&#8221; and won 1st prize at the &#8220;Steinway Piano Competition&#8221; in Berlin and the Honorary Prize at &#8220;Juventudes Musicales de Madrid&#8221;, is one of the great hopefuls of the new generation of European musicians.<\/p>\n<p>He has made his debuts in the most important cities in Europe and Latin America in a very short period of time, performing at Wigmore Hall in London, Herkulessaal in Munich, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Hall, Salle Cortot in Paris, Auditorio Nacional de M\u00fasica in Madrid and Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, among others. He has also given concerts in Hamburg, Hanover, Zurich, Bern, Budapest, Warsaw, Turin and Milan. He has performed with orchestras such as the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Malm\u00f6 Symphony Orchestra, the Orquesta de Radio Televisi\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola, the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, the Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Tenerife, the Orquesta Philarm\u00f3nica de Gran Canaria, and the symphony orchestras of Barcelona, M\u00e1laga and Cordoba and has worked with conductors such as Pablo Gonz\u00e1lez, Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez Cobos, Marc Soustrot, Adrian Leaper, Juan Luis P\u00e9rez, Lorenzo Viotti, Christian Arming, Lorenzo Ramos, Pedro Halffter, V\u00edctor Ambroa and Rub\u00e9n Gimeno.<\/p>\n<p>Another focus of Juan P\u00e9rez Florist\u00e1n is chamber music. He regularly plays in the VibrArt Trio together with Miguel Colom (violin) and Fernando Arias (cello), with whom he received musical inspiration from Menahem Pressler and Kennedy Moretti. Also noteworthy is his collaboration with great musicians such as Abel and Arnau Tom\u00e0s (members of Cuarteto Casals), Adrien Boisseau (former violist of Quatuor Eb\u00e8ne), Pablo Barrag\u00e1n (clarinet), Andrei Ionita (winner of the Tchaikovsky Competition) and Dietrich Henschel (tenor). He has also participated in prestigious chamber music gatherings, including Verbier Festival, Santander Music and Academy Encounter, and Les Arcs Festival, where he played with the renowned Fine Arts Quartet.<\/p>\n<p>His future performances outside Europe include concerts with orchestra and recitals in California, Miami, Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Brazil, and he has already performed in Mexico, Uruguay and Panama.<\/p>\n<p>He received his first piano lessons at the age of ten from his mother, Mar\u00eda Florist\u00e1n, who was his teacher and mentor. He received further musical impulses from great musical personalities such as Daniel Barenboim, Nelson Goerner, Ana Guijarro, Claudio Mart\u00ednez Mehner, Menahem Pressler, Stephen Kovacevich, Klaus Hellwig, Ralf and Mark Gothoni, Jacques Zoon, M\u00e1rta Guly\u00e1s, Frans Helmerson, Horacio Guti\u00e9rrez and Ferenc Rados. During his four years of study with Galina Eguiazarova at the Escuela Superior de M\u00fasica Reina Sof\u00eda in Madrid, the foundation for his professional career was finally laid. The young pianist is currently studying at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin with Eldar Nebolsin, who has had a strong influence on him to this day.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the support of Elisabeth Leonskaja, Juan P\u00e9rez Florist\u00e1n was invited to the Ruhr Piano Festival (2012) in Germany, where a live CD was produced, and to the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad in Switzerland.
