At the age of 4 she started piano lessons with Prof. Anca Florentina Borcea in her hometown. From 2004 to 2014 she enjoyed musical lessons with professors Serban-Dimitrie Soreanu from the <em>Music University of Bucharest <\/em>and Adriana Bocaneanu from the <em>National High School &#8220;Dinu Lipatti&#8221;, Bucharest<\/em>. In February 2015, she was accepted as a student at the <em>University of the Arts, Berlin<\/em> in the class of Professors Pascal Devoyon &amp; Rikako Murata.<\/p>\n<p>Between May 2016 and September 2017 she worked at the <em>University of Arts, Berlin <\/em>as a lecturer for song accompaniment in contemporary song teaching with professors Axel Bauni and Eric Schneider and participated in several festivals in Finland and Germany among others. <em>Kissinger Sommer <\/em>&#8211; June 2017, <em>Mozartfest <\/em>W\u00fcrzburg &#8211; June 2016, <em>Crescendo Festival <\/em>Berlin &#8211; May 2016 &amp; 2017. With the soprano Iida Antola, she won the 2nd prize at the competition <em>Das Lied &#8211; Paula Salomon Lindberg<\/em> as well as the prize for the best pianist.<\/p>\n<p>Together with Prof. Eric Schneider she performed <em>O. Messiaen -Visions<\/em><em>de l&#8217;Amen<\/em> at the festival <em>L&#8217;esprit de joie <\/em>(Radialsystem Berlin &#8211; April 2017).<\/p>\n<p>Since October 2017 she has been working as an official accompanist at the Rutesheim Cello Academy.<\/p>\n<p>She received further artistic inspiration from: Maria Jo\u00e3o Pires at the <em>Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel, Belgium<\/em>; Axel Bauni, Eric Schneider, Frank-Immo Zichner, <em>Artemis Quartet <\/em><em>(University of the Arts, Berlin<\/em>) and in the master classes with Boris Petrushansky, Pavel Gililov, Grigory Gruzman, Andrei Gavrilov, Cristian Beldi, Hakon Astubo, Leonel Morales, Vincenzo Balzani.<\/p>\n<p>Daria is a member of <em>Trio Sternin<\/em>, together with violinist Georgeta Iordache and cellist Andrei Ionita, <em>Duo Presto<\/em>, together with violinist Mao Konishi, and <em>Trio Pyxis <\/em>with violinist Mao Konishi and cellist Haruma Sato.<\/p>\n<p>Daria&#8217;s first performance was in 2002 at the <em>Paul Constantinescu Music Competition<\/em>, where she won 1st prize. Over the next few years, she received numerous other awards at national and international competitions:<\/p>\n<p><b>August 2016: <\/b>Special Award &#8220;Giovanni Turcotti&#8221; &#8211; XXXII. Edition of the International Piano Competition <em>Valsesia Musica, Italy<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><b>June 2016: <\/b>II. prize &#8211; I. edition of the concert competition <em>Debut Berlin, Germany<\/em><br \/>\n<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>February 2015:<\/b> I. Prize, <em>Solists and Orchestra<\/em> Division &#8211; XII. Edition of the International Piano Competition <em>Citta di Padova, Italy<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>May 2014: <\/b><em>II. prize &#8211;<\/em><b><em> <\/em><\/b><em>Barlassina International Young Talents Competition, Italy<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>November 2013: <\/b>II prize ( I and III were not awarded), <em>Diplome de Concert <\/em> section<b>&#8211; <\/b> XII. Edition of the International Piano Competition <em>Nice Cote d&#8217;Azur, France<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><b>2005:<em> <\/em><\/b>the Grand Absolute Prize &#8211; <em>Antonino Miserendino Palermo, Italy<\/em><\/p>\n<p><b>May 2004: <\/b>the I. prize &#8211;<b> <\/b><em>Jeunesses Musicales, Romania<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2013 she recorded for the <em>Golden Phonotheque of the Romanian Radio <\/em>the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 Op. 15 by Ludwig van Beethoven together with the <em>National <\/em><em>Chamber Orchestra of the Radio<\/em> and the conductor Cristian Br\u00e2ncusi as well as a par of chamber music works with her <em>Trio Sternin <\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She also performed with the <em>Prima la Musica <\/em>Orchestra in the Great Hall of the Royal Palace <em>La Monnaie <\/em>in Brussels, as well as with the <em>orchestras from Padova and Venice<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>She had numerous recitals, solo or with a chamber orchestra, on the stages of domestic and foreign philharmonies: in the Great Hall and the Studio Hall of the Romanian Athenaeum, in the  <em>Studio Mihail Jora of <\/em>the Romanian Broadcasting Company; in  <em>ICR-Berlin<\/em>, on the big stage of the  <em>Givatayim-<\/em><em>Theater<\/em> &#8211; Tel Aviv<em>; St.Martin in the Fields <\/em>&#8211; London; <em>Akishino Hall-<\/em>Kyoto; in the <em>Atelier Hall of the National Theater-<\/em> Bucharest, on the big stage of the <em>Conservatorium Koninklijik <\/em>&#8211; Brussels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3462,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"categories":[53],"class_list":["post-3989","artists","type-artists","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-2018-autumn"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artists\/3989","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/artists"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/artists"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3462"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3989"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/alpenarte.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=3989"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
